on my opinion it seems you should redownload the compact voices.
The driver itself seems ok, the problem is in the compact voices packages.
So try first with a normal voice, redownloaded, if work try to redownload the compact.

Enhanced Touch Gestures 20.02 is now available. This is sort of a minor release with localization updates. But under the surface, it is a major update in that NVDA alpha snapshot users will not need the add-on to perform right mouse clicks (one finger tap and hold).

Hi,
What I would suggest you is to uninstall NVDA and then go to roaming
by typing %appdata% in the Run dialogue box and there, delete the NVDA
folder. Then when you install it, hopefully the problem would be
solved. And also, don't forget to backup your addons if you wish to
not install them again.

Update: insert+F5 works to refresh in Chrome, usually. The unexpected
behavior that I mentioned doesn't seem to happen when using Firefox.
