I'm currently using a demo version of the Code Factory version. Seems to be a solid implementation. It's lightning fast. Best, Felix Am Fr., 14. Feb. 2020 um 15:33 Uhr schrieb Sam Bushman <libertyroundtable@gmail.com>:

Re: how to enable hidden files in Windows 10
Keith Eldridge
Hi Brian,
It has same effect as going into folder options and view tab. If you set it using shortcut keys and then go into the options the other way you will find it set in there and if you set or unset in folder option you would find the ribbon option checked or unckecked accordingly.

The NVDA version can only be used for NVDA. The other version can be used on windows and for any other speaking app/screen reader. Not sure which is better because I have only used and paid for the NVDA version. Thanks, Sam

And for the record, what one does to show/hide hidden files has remained the same for a very, very long time now. It didn't change under Windows 10 one iota.
Control Panel, File Explorer Options, View Tab, and activate either the Show hidden files, folders, and drives radio button or its Don't show sibling. -- Brian - Windows 10 Pro, 64-Bit, Version 1909, Build 18363 Power is being told you're not loved and not being destroyed by it. ~ Madonna

You have Eloquence in SAPI5 flavour or in an NVDA add-on.

Remember to that if you still have Kurzweil1000 reading&scanning software, yu could use the eloquence provided on it. I used to do this with when had K1000 on my Windows XP machine; I haven’t upgraded so as to be able to use it nowadays.

Editing of Windows onecore voices
Hello.
MS Speech mobile isn't compatible for this version. I have one pleasure to developers of NVDA. Please, could You edit Windows Onecore to same things, as MS Speech mobile, for example to correct pronunciation of letters and also, names of voices viewing, as name of voice and language. Also, there is problem with sorting of voices, because voices are sorted randomly. Please, could You look on It? Thank You. best regards Marco Oros

Also, make sure you have restarted the computer after updating. Sometimes random things misbehave in that interim time.
With Clipspeak, it has been updated, you can download the new version from: https://addons.nvda-project.org/addons/clipspeak.en.html
Kind regards

Re: NVDA froze

Hello,

technically, what exactly would constitute an irrecoverable freeze of NVDA? Isn't the watchdog in place to prevent that exact thing? Or are there calls which might potentially freeze but which the watchdog is not guarding? Best, Felix Am Fr., 14. Feb. 2020 um 02:44 Uhr schrieb Gene <gsasner@gmail.com>:

Hi. I purchased my copy of NVDA Eloquence and Vocalizer NVDA
Addon from AT Guys for $69US$, and it is working like a charm.
But you must Download the CodeFactoryPython3 Addon though or it
might not work with the latest installation ofNVDA. You are given
the option of Deactivating your copy from your pc should you need
to Revamp it, then reactivate it when you are ready to do so. And
you can install it on 3 PCSat at any one time. But you must
remember to deactivate any of those copies should you want to
migrate to a different machine or there will be problems when your
activation attempts run out. Cheers!
