Navigation keys not working

I tried the nvda+shift+space combination in Firefox and nothing worked, not even the arrow keys and tab key. I had to tell NVDA not to save the configuration on exit and then restart it. John

How can I tell if my computer has the Creaters update?

Finding headers doesn't work.
Disabling Windows 10 App Essentials has no effect. In the browse mode menu I checked Include Layout Tables. That had no effect either. I don't see anything else in the NVDA menus that seems relevant.
