Yes, this is neat too, and I kind of wish I'd known about it when the course was actually taking place. So far I've only listened to the Audio Essentials stuff but the instructors are surprisingly goo

Looks like they will be using Reaper. Follow the link on the second page for a pretty good audio course.

Quick Question
Yep, I remember using Bex in my early school days. I don’t miss it, but now that you mentioned it, yes I do remember the capital pitch-change!

Hi Robert. Thanks for passing this on, looks both useful and interesting. Maybe time to actually give Reaper a shot.

Hi. I'm not arguing, but I wonder if you could explain this? I work with both .wav and .mp3 files using version 6.31 of this programme, and although I don't use all features, it works as well or bette

Just curious, but why wouldn't one use goldwave 6? Maybe if you were still on XP, I could understand sticking with an old version -- in that case you can no longer keep NVDA up to date either. I am us

Youtube in Firefox don't automatically plays video after loading Youtube
There have been a lot of messages on the list about this, but the explanation seems to be that firefox does not autoplay by default. This change is welcome by many of us, including me. As for internet

I noticed this started happening with the new firefox update. Can’t be a coincidence, then. I must say I prefer it this way, but there probably still is a way to get it to autoplay.

Why Windows OneCore voices Over eSpeak NG
The problem I found with the 1core voices was that there was always a really long pause between sentences, and a shorter but still annoying pause after commas. I was able to get rid of this by editing

μTorrent 3.5.4: NVDA does't read the name in the list of entries.
Of course, with any software, but especially something like a torrent client, it’s always advisable to know both the implications fo what you are getting into, and how said software works. I don’t kno

I used MIRC very successfully with JAWS until recently; I think it would work well with NVDA too, but you’d probably want to use screen review a lot.

Ad blocker for NVDA and Firefox?
Brian, that makes sense; I thought it must be something like that, I was just leary of using the term “power button” without any sort of context for what that meant.
