With Window Eyes when on a web page you can use the L key to move from link to link on the page. Is there a way to do this with NVDA? Did not see it on the shortcut list. Thanks

I think I have figured it out. The user guide is a html file. Even though I have IE set as my browser I have to go in and set html files to be opened by IE. Thanks for all the help.

OK when using NVDA as your primary screen reader is there a better choice for a Email client than Thunderbird? I currently don't have access to outlook. Thanks

downloading a file using NVDA
So I go to the addon's web site and pick the addon I want to download. I find a button for downloading the stable version of the addon. I hit enter on the download button and nothing seems to happen.

password fields on web pages
Looks like by default NVDA says star for every character typed into a password edit box. Is there a setting to have NVDA say the actual characters being entered rather than the star?
