I am trying to make a donation to NVDA using the donate link in the NVDA menu. I can select my amount and hit the donate now button. On the next page when I try to enter my name and other info I get a

Going through it with no hesitations and it still times out.

I don't have a PayPal account.

Get as far as typing in my first name.

I am not using PayPal.

Since I was screwed by PayPal I would hope you would find another way to donate outside of Paypal. I will not use them in any way for processing my payments.

When I go to the NVDA help menu and open the about it shows the RC1 as being installed

Well I said yes to install the update and it appeared that it installed RC1 over the existing RC1. Will see if it comes up to update again.
