I have found out the hard way that regular expressions vary in different settings. It would be nice if nvda domumented exactly which implementation or re it uses.

Hello, Did you get this figured out? I seem to recall you are using brltty. In linux you must specifically enable braille input in the config file. perhaps there is a similar requirement in windows.

Oops I got that wrong. You mean when the screen locks. yes we have to unlock the screen and connect again when the screen locks.

My displays do not disconnect after long pauses in ios. I wonder whats going on there.

If the braille connect has been left off maybe you could get brltty to handle it. I never could get brltty to work with nvda, so I would classify this as a desperation move. Good luck. let us know if

I just use cmd prompt and sftp. Works perfectly for me. windows key, t`ype cmd, hit enter. they type sftp user@hostname

Weird! If you have braille extender, try disabling it and see what happens.

If nothing else works you might try using brltty.

Can't be done. I griped about this a while back. I doubt anybody totally deafblind can use nvda.
