You are probably better off raising an issue on GitHub, if its an NVDA issue, giving more information than you have here will probably help diagnose the problem

Your best option in the first place would be to uncheck the option to save configuration on exit! That way any accidental setting change would not be saved unless of course you save the configuration

Yes, you will have to download and install the nvda installer manually, it cannot be done through check for updates, once you have updated manually it should update normally from now on

If you go to the nvda tools menu and open the manage ad-owns dialog you will find a link to the get addons page where you will locate your desired add-on

You mean nvda updates or windows updates? If you are on nvda 21.2 then you need to download the 21.3 from the nvaccess site to update nvda manually

Just update over the older version, and most add-ons have been updated to comply with 21.3 in any case

You will have to download the latest version of the addon from code factory If you want to use it with the latest nvda Otherwise you will be waiting a long time

Run the com registration fixing tool under the nvda tools menu in version 21.2 That should fix it!

Open the addon manager under the nvda tools menu then select the addon to enable then tab to the enable button and hit enter then tab to close and restart nvda when prompted

Its a jaws issue as far as I know I have installed the last two nvda beta with no issues

It looks like its to turn them on in stable versions only Doesnt look like you can turn them off in test versions

I think you can now turn them off under nvda advanced settings

Anything could have happened to office in the time you last used it, so make sure its up to date then try a repair or uninstall and reinstall again
