Under nvda general settings try the use currently saved setting for login and other secure screens option

If you have any other vocalizer add-ons installed , remove them and see if that fixes the issue

Try restarting NVDA then check to see if it shows in speech settings

The nvda.ini file is what I think you are looking for Which can be found in c:\users\your profile name\appdata\roaming vda

Simple mistake on the syntax it should be --install-silent That’s dash dash that’s two dashes at the start not one

The gestures.ini hold the custom gestures set in nvda It can be found under c:\users\your profile name\appdata\roaming vda\gestures.ini Rename or remove then restart nvda to reset
