When you open the emoticon panel in windows its already on the emoticons , so just arrow to the emoticon you require and hit enter, its as simple as that, nothing to do with nvda 🤣🤣s

If you think its coming from that specific program then try setting it not to start on logon see fi that fixes it If it fixes the issue then reinstall the program see if that fixes Otherwise the error

And still the windows 10 mail app causes nvda to go silent, and the only way to restore speech is to restart nvda This issue has been going on for years now, probably from the first release of windows

Depends if you have fast startup enabled or not, But to be sure I advise to restart rather than shut down if you have fast startup enabled If you are not sure then restart is recommended

I would suggest running the run com registration fixing tool under the tools menu of nvda Then restart your computer, not shut down but RESTART

Probably in settings > apps > apps and features From the list of installed apps select the one to uninstall then hit enter to expand then tab to uninstall button then hit enter

If you are running nvda then the latest version of Firefox will work with the latest version of NVDA You don’t need to run esr versions with nvda

If you have a 64bit windows then try the 64bit firefox to see if that’s any better, rather than using the 32bit firefox
