NVDA AND WINDOWS 11
It probably won’t come to my system without some hardware changes. It’s only from 2017 but still lacks the requisite TPM as far as I know. In any case I haven’t decided yet whether I’ll keep using Win

Winamp add on?
I have never had those keys speak, either using the add-on or not using it. In fact the add-on really doesn't seem to do anything over here. But I wouldn’t' want those keys to be spoken anyway so yeah

Are there up to date add-ons for Winamp?
I still use Winamp for music, myself, but..I’m pretty sure it’s dead software. I am running 5.666 on my desktop, and I installed that 5.8 beta or hack or whatever the hell it is on my laptop. I really

A suggestion about the NVDA update process
The UAC is your friend. If you ever see it come up when you don’t think it should, you are right to be suspicious. UAC appears when a programme wants to do something “out of bounds” of normal user pro

nvda and Firefox?
I never experienced any issue. I paused the updates briefly but then went back to the normal schedule/channel and everything ran fine. I think it may only have ffected those who have firefox profiles.

Windows 11 accessibility
It’s pretty much the least exciting major version change in history (ok, that might be a slight exaggeration). When Windows 10 came around it felt like it was at least somewhat something new and that

NVDA does not read the context menu in the Edge browser
I have mixed and very complicated feelings about ads on the internet. I generally would rather not see them but this is how some of my favourtie providers of content get revenue. And they deserve that

I’m a little dubious about Brave and their someday-to-be-imlemented advertising model. Vivaldi looks so cool. I have it and have used it a bit, but I wonder if there is a way to customise it a little

Hmm...I wouldn't bother making that particular change if I were you, but assuming you ahve good reason to do it, I would use command line. The command "ren" will rename files. You can use wildcares. M

The setting is part of the general section, so it should be reachable without any extra steps. I agree that these changes sometimes seem unnecessarily, but to be fair: Firefox has now been like this f

It is possible that eventaully the update will just install anyway, however there is a button to activate in settings/general that lets you choose to not update firefox automatically (it does *check8

So, how long before we all get v.89 unless we take steps not to update. Don't want to be caught unawares before this happens.

Yeah, I mean it depends on the employer – they said they were working from home but I dnot’ remember if it was stated whether this was their personal pc or a work computer. Even working at the service
