Try control insert g, home, enter for the NVDA language. For the synth, that depends which one you're using, but control insert v, alt v should get you to Voice.

I'm pretty sure my instructions should've worked. What happened when you were doing that? Did it traceback or give you another form of error in the Python console?

Both of these are a problem with your synthesizer. NVDA relies on indexing a lot more than it used to, and I'm guessing your synth can't do it well enough.

What language is it and what synthesizer are you using? The most common issue I've seen which causes this is the synth can't index properly, so NVDA doesn't know it needs to continue reading.
