guillam from Portugal or spain one of those countries, made these voices. I am using the new antonio2 klatt 6 voice which makes espeak sound clearer to me. I also like the Paul, and young-paul voices.

try the new eSpeak Reed variant with volume 100, pitch 51, inflection 30, rate 10 or 20, and rate boost turned on or checked. It makes espeak far more pleasant.

I use the Reed variant that came with the latest NVDA 2022.4. and to make it talk very fast I turn rate boost on and then turn the rate up to 25 or 30%.

well then maybe a version of NVDA could be made bundling as many addons as possible that meet nvAccess requirements and let the user get the rest of the addons they need on their own.

NVDA reading speed
When I use espeak, I find that the faster I read I have to turn the inflection down because the default inflection of 75 is too distracting. It's almost as if the speech is trying to hard to sound too
