Hi. You might not see the need, but I know that others might. I prefer NVDA stick to consistency where this is concerned, as confusion may arise if they go down this road. You may be able to disable c

Hi. Have you tried Alt+Down arrow when you've reached the combo box, then pressing Enter on your desired option? Try that and report back.

Application key is not functioning properly
Hi. This may require a reboot. Failing that, you may also want to list some of the add-ons you have, if any, as one of them may be at conflict with the mentioned key.

silencing certain reading of tables in NVDA
Again, this is where configuration profiles would come in handy. You could have this on for Excel, but off for your web browser.

Hi. I don't really see the appeal of this add-on anymore, seeing that you can assign keyboard shortcuts to configuration profiles, which can include changes to synthesizers and voice settings natively

Acer laptop has not HOME and END keys for NVDA
Hi. It does indeed work, but it requires that you are running the beta for now. It will be part of the next stable version of NVDA. I just used it to set NVDA+J as my mute key.

Hi. This would be a different issue, unless it's not speaking what's in browse mode or on your taskbar. If NVDA starts and says "unknown", it's probably due to your display driver.

Hi. This is because Symbol Pronunciation settings are not profile specific. They work the same across all profiles and the normal configuration, similar to dictionaries.
