Why Windows OneCore voices Over eSpeak NG
No, OneCore voices can only be used with Windows 10, however you might be able to get some of the voices by installing Microsoft Speech Platform, though that does not include newer voices such as Mark

Why Windows OneCore voices Over eSpeak NG
This was done because many users find ESpeak to be very robotic sounding, which negatively affected people's first impression of NVDA. You'd need to copy your settings over if you want to use ESpeak N

Translating NVDA into Te Reo Māori option
I think ESpeak has support for the language, not sure if it's any good, though.

Apologies, I misread the post, I thought the registry hack to get POS ready updates wasn't stated in the original message for some reason, but yes, those updates have or will be dropped this year.

Actually I think that registry hack gave you updates for Windows Embedded POS Ready, a version of XP that is primarily used in ATMs and the like, which is I think still being supported but will itself

Onecore voices?
You can download more voices by downloading new language packs from Settings>Time and Language>Language, this is no longer necessary in Windows 10 version 1903 as you'll be able to download the voices

Sorry. It seemed like Najaf had been posting the question several times as replies to different threads, perhaps I was getting the idea wrong.

Najaf, please stop highjacking threads. But to answer your question, NVDA 2019.1 apparently still has some issues that are holding it back, though a beta should hopefully be out in the coming days.

sleep in win 7
Yes. Configuring this is also accessible from the new Settings app, but you can still change the setting through the classic control panel as well.

I believe you're looking for control panel>power options>change when the computer sleeps. Another way to get to this is by going in to the run dialog and typing "powercfg.cpl", without quotes.

How can I configure NVDA to speak nothing?
#advisory
Personally I've used it on occasions, though I've changed the pitch to an A note rather than the default, as the default pitch sounds rather painful to me.
