Now the portable and installed versions are getting dedicated downloaders that substantially work the same way, it would be nice to have a choice in both, to start the new version. At present this is only there in portable versions.
This delay seems to stop the issue of nvda restarting and falling over, at least on my machine. You just wait a few seconds and then OK and it always works, whereas installed version just jumping straight in can sometimes generate an invisible error and only esc and a restart of nvda can fix it. Minor but irritating.
