NVDA Confuguration profiles and heading setting in google sheets

Here is an issue with an explanation about why it is trying to reload the Braille driver: https://github.com/nvaccess/nvda/issues/8032

When it changes profiles it loads the changed settings and some that may not have changed as well - Braille is one of those - so it tries to load the saved Braille driver (for your usual Braille device) but because that takes a few moments to ascertain that there is no driver connected and rollover to the "No Braille" setting, it is more noticeable than when NVDA first starts up.  It might be something we can make more efficient though.

Thank you very very much.  Setting Braille display to no display solved my problem. I thought When you plug out the display it is automatic But Why it is problem only when I have diffirent confuguration profiles and swiching between them or is there something I'm missing here?

If you can recreate the issue and then send me a copy of your NVDA log, I can see if there is anything in there which gives a clue.

One thing I have seen which sometimes gets a little funny is if you have NVDA set to use a Braille display; if you don't currently have the display connected or turned on, NVDA reverts to no braille, but it does on occasion spend longer looking for it than if you manually set the Braille device to no braille.

See https://github.com/nvaccess/nvda/wiki/LogFilesAndCrashDumps for information about the log file.

Kind regards

Quentin.

Thank you for reply. I have searched about the google sheets issue but found nothing. If someone knows about the issue or can find a helpfull post. I would be greatful.
About configuration profiles: I know that is very unlogical issue. I haven't seen similar complaints from anyone. However, When I just make a new confuguration profile without any reall change the speed is significantly changes. I don't know why it is the case or how I can solve it.

I'm sure I saw a reply about Google docs back in the chain somewhere. Maybe your feed is missing some posts.
I cannot say configuration profiles has caused a slow down here, but then I guess it depends on your machine and what differences there are in the configurations.

Subject: [nvda] NVDA Confuguration profiles and heading setting in google sheets

Hello,
I have two questions:
First of all,, for sometime, I have been realizing that my computer is very slow on swiching between programs for example between word and firefox. Today I realized that it is due to different confuguration profiles I use for those programs. When I deleted them, problem was gon. The problem is that I love the confuguration feature of NVDA. Usually I use different rates of speach and document viewing options for different programs. is there any way to customize NVDA for different programs without problem swiching between them?
Secondly, I have asked about setting headings in google sheets fiew days ago. I guess noone knows about it or didn't see the message so I'm asking it second time: we can sett row and collemn headings in excel with ctr+shift+r or c, can we do the same in google sheets?
Best regards
