Remote Add-on issue
Jonathan Milam
Hi All,
I have created shortcuts to the computers that I control remotely via the remote add-on. For some reason, now when I click on any of them, I get a message that the application cannot be found. Any ideas on how this can be resolved? I have uninstalled-reinstalled NVDA and the add-on without success. Which application actually launches these shortcuts? They start with nvdaremote colon slash slash. Thanks, Jonathan Sent from my iPhone |

Have you read the topic: Advisory... once again (and one last time): NVDA Remote 2.1 (without patch) is incompatible with NVDA 2018.3 and future releases ?
Not knowing what release or releases of NVDA are at play it's difficult to give any specific advice. -- Brian - Windows 10 Home, 64-Bit, Version 1803, Build 17134 The psychology of adultery has been falsified by conventional morals, which assume, in monogamous countries, that attraction to one person cannot co-exist with a serious affection for another. Everybody knows that this is untrue. . . ~ Bertrand Russell

I am using the latest official release and the connection works fine if I connect through Tools, Remote, but not through the shortcuts I've created.Sent from my iPhone On Sep 5, 2018, at 9:43 PM, Brian Vogel <britechguy@...> wrote:

Hi What do your shortcuts do to try and establish a remote connection?
Cheers
