This is an updated version of the accessible video editor. I have not tried VD 2 yet because the developer is sighted, which always makes me skiddish on accessibility, but the homepage is below. Good thing is, it's open source, so if anybody wants to add onto it and otherwise, it's yours for the playing.

FWIW, it still seems to be just as accessible/usable as the prior version - had 1.9 here, but, just gave it a quick run-through.

Only real issue have had with virtual dub is the size of it's output files - have always ended up using another bit of software to convert them, to drop their file sizes down a whole lot...<smile>

Yeah. I tried it this morning to do a bit of video editing, tried it from a few MKV files I ripped from DVD's and it seems to be just as accessible as the old. I can't find the git hub page though. It is open source, but from my experience, blind developers tend to do their own version of whatever. Still, I like the program because I can't find an accessible, modern, video editor anywhere and this is the best we have, for now.

A few more accessibility improvements can be done. I've also been looking for a full list of keyboard commands but can't find any online, so I will have to create that document myself probably but everything can be done with the keyboard. A few sliders, in the video section of the preferences dialog do not read but I am sure a blind developer can fork virtual dub 2 and fix what little accessibility issues remain. I'll start making an online document somewhere that lists keyboard shortcuts.
