I just upgraded my NVDA vlc add-on and it seems to have fixed the issue. Thanks to the add-on developers, this is an app I use a lot for teaching. --Sile

Yes, I have this installed. What is happening is that when I press alt-s to stop playing, say, it also pulls up the settings menu for effects etc. --Sile

As for tagging songs/albums, I've not tried this and so am not sure. I will look into it.

With this player, can you mark where you left off, for instance, 30 minutes into a movie or book, and upon reopening the app, go to where you left off_
