ATTACHMENTS IN EMAILS
Stephen Thacker
Hi, I know this maybe slightly off topic but can you help me please? I recently bought a new pc quodcore machine with NVDA, Windows 10 Professional 64 bit. I’ve installed one or two items such as office etc. However when I receive emails and it says in the subject line attachments but does not detail what those attachments are, how do I detach the attachments? On my old machine I just clicked on the attachment bvut cannot find on the new machine the attachment to click on. Any thoughts please?
Thanks in advance of any help, Steve

I've been using SHIFT+TAB from within the message body to throw focus to the Attachments for "forever." You can then right/left arrow through the attachments present. If you hit either end of the list you'll sit there if you try to move any further in the same direction.

Then you press alt-down arrow on an attachment to get a menu. Choose save

If you want to save the single attachment on which you have focus S is the shortcut key for doing so. If you want to save all of the attachments, and all will be saved in the same folder, then N is the shortcut for doing so. -- Brian - Windows 10 Home, 64-Bit, Version 1809, Build 17763 A great deal of intelligence can be invested in ignorance when the need for illusion is deep. ~ Saul Bellow, To Jerusalem and Back

Sadly some stuff can say attatchments but not actually have anything. Some stuff have automatic attachments like some outlook things, maybe some pictures, those usually are scrubbed with the message but not allways.

Brian's Mail list account
In this regard its exactly the same in Outlook Express. One thing often found is that if the email has a graphic in it, in some mailers its flagged as an attachment when its really just a small icon or something.
