NVDA and antivirus: how can I uninstall mcafee?

Simone Dal Maso

Hello, sorry but I really don't know how to solve this.
I have a laptop of a friend of mine in which there is installed Mcafee antivirus.
The problem is that NVDA can't read anything in the security center of the program, so I can't uninstall it.
I tried to download the tool that Mcafee provides for removing all, but they decide to include paranoid and absurde security check, so you must enter the charachter you see on the screen in an editbox that NVDA can't activate.
So, are there some utilities that can uninstall a program without passing from the original setup?
I tried glary utilities but the software simply runs the mcafee security uninstall, so I am not able to continue.
Any hints?
Thank you!

Would Ccleaner do?

How about going to Control Panel then uninstall programs and get rid
of it from there?

It isn't paranoid nor absurd.  It is to prevent malware from uninstalling the program.  Increasingly, malware attempts to disable, alter, or uninstall popular antimalware programs.  Requiring the uninstaller to enter a captcha is a protection feature for the program.  I know of one other antivirus program that has such a feature and I wouldn't be surprised if many others do as well.

uninstall it in the control panel then remove files from appdata user
software and also registry if needed.
