nvda no longer reads windows updates
brian <sackriderbrian45@...>
I am using nvda 2019.1 and now nvda no longer reads windows updates like it use to do. I can no longer check for updates because nvda will not tell me if I have any updates or not If I do it will not read what the update is or the percentages. I had no probelm with the last version of nvda. Is therea setting that some got changed how can I bring back windows updates. I do have windows 10 app esentials.

It still seems to work in Windows 7, at least lets just say its no less annoying than it was or indeed more annoying than it was, ie you still need to find the progress bar.

Hi, Sometimes, restarting NVDA fixes this, as this is likely a confused NVDA as it tries to communicate with UIA apps such as Settings. Cheers, Joseph |
