is there any voice similar or close to the ETI eloquence english voice

Mohd. Ahtesham Shaikh

Hi friends,
I was wondering if some one has found some similar voice to ETI
Eloquence voice so that we do not need to purchase it.
It need not be exactly same but some what close to it in terms of clarity.

Regards,

Ahtesham

This is subjective and you may get many opinions.  I've seen claims that this or that voice is similar or can be made similar using the right settings but I've found none that is nearly comparable.  But since you are asking for free voices, you can, of course try them with no worries about paying or when they will time out.

I can't comment on the One Core voices.  I don't use Windows 10 and I'm not sure if they can be made to work in earlier versions.  How comparable they are to Eloquence, I don't know, but you may want to try them.  I've heard a number of people say they like them.  They are free.

But is that close to Eloquence? In my mind, not at all. But, this kind of thing is opinion based. You may try the Speech Player in eSpeak NVDA add-on from
speechPlayerInEspeak-0.4.nvda-addon

its one of the voices in espeak!
i really love it, dont think for using other voices, but just wish to
download other free voices for testing, but not for my daily use.

You don’t have to purchase eloquence you could buy it from blind help.net.

Under UK law, no VAT is charged on biscuits and cakes - they are "zero rated".
Chocolate covered biscuits, however, are classed as "luxury items" and are
subject to VAT. McVitie's classed its Jaffa Cakes as cakes, but in 1991 this
was challenged by Her Majesty's Customs and Excise in court.

The question which had to be answered was what criteria should be used to
class something as a cake or a biscuit. McVitie's defended the classification
of Jaffa Cakes as a cake by arguing that cakes go hard when stale, whereas
biscuits go soft. It was demonstrated that Jaffa Cakes become hard when stale
and McVitie's won the case.

I thin that Jeff Recousky I cannot spell his name has the deck talk and other synths to. I can't mention them here or I will be band. I also don't have the site anymore. I'll have to get it from my bf, if he can even find it.

Banned for mentioning, I doubt it.  Giving instructions that allow/encourage someone to download cracked software -  in a heartbeat.  It simply is not done on reputable lists or forums, period.  There are also real issues of legal exposure, and believe me those have been brought up on the beta forum, where we were both conversing today (but not about that).

If I am ever informed that a link to software, or even instructions on how to circumvent copyright and/or get cracked software, have appeared there will be one, and only one, warning and the information will promptly be deleted.

Yeah tha'ts why I'm not gogi to say but google jef recousky's site. I'm sure you will find it along with some other cool nvda add ons that will never make it to the official site. In fact here it is.

[Link to Material Violating Owner Copyright Redacted by Moderator] Scrol down to the add ons page and you should be good from here.

Sarah,

Consider this your "one warning" in this realm.  That page is clearly loaded to the hilt with material that is not legally obtained and that directly violates copyright.  This sort of reference should never, and I mean never, be publicly posted on this list/forum by yourself or anyone else.

To the membership at large:  Do not post any direct links or other forms of reference in this list to any materials that violate copyright in any way, shape, or form.  It is completely unacceptable.   This is an unwritten rule on this, and many lists/forums, and a written one on others.  It should go without saying, but there it is.
