cannot download weather plus and when I type, keys do not speak

Good afternoon list; as stated, cannot download weather plus; when I try, I am taken back to the desktop. Also, when I type, the keys do not speak; meaning they remain silent. Any help on these issues would be appreciated, marv

Hi,
First let me say that two different questions as it looks like it's the case here, would be better suited in different threads. Of course, that's my opinion and the final decision is still yours :) Now: cannot download weather plus; when I try, I am taken back to the desktop.I'm not sure of what you are using for downloading it. At any rate, as far as I know, this add-on is being rewritten, which means you would find a better and more stable version of it if you wait for a while. Also, when I type, the keys do not speak; meaning they remain silent.Try pressing NVDA key+F2, NVDA being the insert/caps lock key, according on what you've set it up.
