That's good, but I would not hold my breath for too long. I'm actually planign on learningn other methods such as reaper for editing midi etc. That also works well with nvda.

QWS works perfectly with Windows 10 revision 1903 and NVDA 2019.1.1. I use it extensively and it just works.

Remember as well, they are *.mid files also this thing was written for xp. I would not at all be surprised if it broke under windows 10. You will want to try and find another midi editor as qws will probably soon be on its way out.

That's because you're in an Explorer pane.  What happens when you tab around?  You really need to try to get your bearings about the content around you.  An open dialog is a form of Explorer pane.  Please explore the surroundings and report back with what you find.

ah, I didn't explain right.

The program is called QWS.

its a program for making little midi music things.

The program was made for windows xp, and just heard others who use QWS, have had this problem.

This only happens when using QWS.

it even does it when using narrator to test.

So, are you saying that no matter what program you're using the Open dialog with, and no matter where you navigate, nothing ever shows up?

Do files show up in the same locations if you browse there with File Explorer?

I'm using Windows 10Ver1903 (64-bit) build 18362.116.

It says something about explorer pain.
