Progress beep

Hi, Is there a way to turn off NVDA progress beep as it is happening when I try to listen to an audio message sent by my daughter middle school. It sure is annoying! Many thanks Blessings Pascal |

Dark Count
Press NVDA U untill you hear no progress bar updates. It is a cycle command so if you keep pressing it it will eventually circle to the setting where you started.

Yes. NVDA+u. It will toggle between beeps, speech, and nothing, for progress bar announcement.
