I was able to use all four English voices with NVDA using SAPI5. They are not bad. I do wonder why the NVDA add-ons aren't being seen in the synthesizer list after installation though.
|
|
Hi
They can be seen with the add on version but it looks as though the 3 files I mentioned are needed. The main add on the language data one and at least one voice. Just installed a second voice and it can be seen under the voice settings section in nvda.

Could someone direct me to the driver file? I have the English add-on and four, English voices, but I am obviously missing another driver add-on.

No, still no spanish voices. I don't know how to create my own recordings for that spanish voice.

Hi
the first add on you get is under a heading called nvda it says like main add on and will need to be installed.
then jump down to the english part and under that is another one for language data or some thing like that it will also need to be installed.
Just under it is 4 english voices you will need to download also and install the ones you want.
so if you only get one that will be a starter.
After the mentioned files have been installed you should be able to see the voices.
You just need to change your synth to RH voice first then pick your voices second or voice you want to use.
Hopefully it should get you up and running at the worst I can drop box main add on language one and the 2 voices i have here.

was a .7z archive. I have all four voices and the English add-on,
but I am missing the main one. A Dropbox link would be nice.

You only need the addon then at least 1 voice.

Hi
You may need to arrow down to download button then either press the space bar or enter key to download the zip file. It only has 2 files in it one been the main add on and the other for language there is no voices in it unless I delete the file and do a
new one. I only tried out 2 of the voices in english to see what they were like.
it can be done with those other 2 voices or i could also get the other 2 and add into the zip file.

Hi Gene,
I hate to bother you. I was able to download the main file “RH voice.zip” but even with my daughter’s help, we could not get to download the other file “RHVoice-1.0.0.nvda-addon”
Pls help. Whatever you do is greatly appreciated.

should be able to see the voices.
You just need to change your synth to RH voice first
then pick your voices second or voice you want to use.
Hopefully it should get you up and running at the worst
I can drop box main add on language one and the 2 voices
i have here.

I was able to use all four English voices with NVDA

are not bad. I do wonder why the NVDA add-ons aren't
being seen in the
synthesizer list after installation though.

Hi
I have added them all together the files that are needed. This includes the nvda rh add on the language data one and the 4 voices.
You will need to unzip the package and install them all if you want all 4 voices .
The link to the drop box account is
https://www.dropbox.com/s/h7zvw44w0bg17cx/rh%20voice%20package.zip?dl=0
I will most probably remove the one with the 2 files in it and leave this one up for at least 24 to 48 hours.

Hi Gene,
I hate to bother you. I was able to download the main file “RH voice.zip” but even with my daughter’s help, we could not get to download the other file “RHVoice-1.0.0.nvda-addon”
Pls help. Whatever you do is greatly appreciated.
Blessings
