Hello, I think it’s the same as with chrome. You have to find an empty spot on your desktop, which you can do using the external numeric keypad, select the link in Firefox, and then right click the desktop to make a shortcut.

There is no need to do all of this in Chrome. Simply bring up the chrome menu, then more tool and then create shortcut. This puts a shortcut on the desktop with the name of the webpage as the default title. David Griffith Sent from Mail for Windows 10

That being said, this topic is now locked, as it is not, and never has been, about NVDA. The question is about creating an desktop shortcut for Firefox and the answer is completely screen reader agnostic. Sticking "with NVDA" on a question that involves NVDA in no specific way does not make it on-topic for the main group. This is precisely the sort of question that belongs on the Chat Subgroup.
