News regarding Firefox.
Brian's Mail list account
Just got an email from the Mozilla team about the focus issue in Firefox 56, It cannot be sorted in 56, but has been addressed in 57 apparently so the advice for us has to be wait for 57, and don't updat to 56 unless you enjoy having to move focus from the wrong place back to the page every time you use it.
I was looking for a meaning full place to put this info but I cannot find one. Brian bglists@... Sent via blueyonder. Please address personal email to:- briang1@..., putting 'Brian Gaff' in the display name field. |

I'm just waking up so this is the first message of the day. I won't download V 56. Now the question I have and I've not seen it addressed on the WWIN 10 list is does this focus issue happen with JAWS 18?

I have not the foggiest idea, but if they have fixed it one supposes it affects enough to make it need fixing.

Hopefully every so often I will be able to get the latest stable release without the issues in it. The issue will be those that autoupdate. On 12/09/2017 11:16 p.m., Brian's Mail list account via Groups.Io wrote:

I did read the chat on that bug report but its often hard to interpret why they cannot fix something in an older version. I have no idea why they could not back port it in this case, maybe our usage is not such a big issue to them to have to do a lot of coding, who knows?
