There's a couple of things. Firstly in the document formatting dialog (NVDA+control+d or choose "document formatting" from NVDA's preferences menu), find "row/column headers" and ensure that is checked. While you are there set "cell coordinates" if you want that. To set headers: - Move to the first cell in the row that you want to have headers read and press NVDA+shift+C to set column headers. - Move to the first cell in the column that you want to have headers read and press NVDA=shift+r to set row headers. To remove headers, move to the same cell and press the shortcut twice quickly. Note that you need to move to the first cell you want headers read from - it doesn't automatically set it for the whole row or column. Regards Quentin.
