Malwarebytes

Don H

I am running NVDA 2017-3 on a Win 10 system.  It has been a while since I tried Malwarebytes  but the last time I did it was not very accessible with a screen reader.  Is that still the case?
Thanks

It isn't perfect, but I was able to do the basics. This included running a scan performing a clean and getting information as things updated. I could wish for better accessibility, but Windows security programs are so fraught, I'm just grateful to have the option of using Malwarebytes. Hope this helps, Eric

Here's he strange thing. It's fully accessible on mac os and they make sure it is, so looks like windiws right now is taking a back seat.

Take care

Another option, and I can't speak to its accessibility but I can speak to its "fitness to purpose," which is excellent, is Zemana Antimalware.

I'll leave it to others to do the accessibility testing.

I didn’t know you can get mellwhere bites on the Mac. I knew you can do it on Windows.

Hi don,

It's about the most accessible antivirus program out right now and works
quite  well with nvda. there's a guide for using it at the accessibility
central website.
