Bookmark the page, close Firefox and open it again
and use the bookmark. Or you can see if the page is in history before you
make the book mark. I believe this problem is going to be corrected in the
next full release of NVDA and it may already be in the master snapshots but if
you want to use the production version now, my suggestions will allow you to
conveniently close and reopen firefox.
