I tried the demo and it works.

I noticed some strange behavior but that may have been only in switching between Via Voice and Eloquence.  People generally don’t use Via Voice any longer so that problem may exist for only a small number of people who switch between Eloquence and Via Voice.

Hello!

You have bought the SAPI5 version of Eloquence.

So, in the synths list of NVDA you should choose Microsoft Speech API 5 and then with NVDA+Control + arrows select the desired language of Eloquence…

I just realized that it won’t show up as a choice in the main dialog.  The clue is that one of the choices in NVDA is SAPI 5.  Choose that option.  Then go into voices, control NVDA key v and up and down arrow through the availble voices.  The Eloquence voices will be there, but they won’t say Eloquence.  You will see voices that are in Eloquence such as Reed, the voice I suspect the majority of Eloquence users use.

The SAPI 5 Eloquence?

Use the command control NVDA key s to open the synthesizers dialog.  Up and down arrow to find Eloquence.  Press enter.

I am assuming that the product is properly registered and running so you have access to it.

Its not showing up anywhere but the icon on the desktop. When I open it it puts me in settings which says nothing about which screen reader you wish to use with it.

Did you purchase the Sapi 5 version or the NVDA addon?

Others may know better as I have no direct experience but I think there may be issues with associating the correct version of the addon version with the version of NVDA you are using.

That as I understand it  from other discussions the latest addon version is designed for NVDA 19.3  and not 19.2.

If you are still running 19.2  I think you may possibly need the previous addon version.

This is all a little confusing as, as far as I understand it 19.3 is still in beta and not officially released yet.

Personally I always use Sapi 5  versions and avoid using addon synthesisers to avoid these and other complications.
