Microsoft update bothers NVDA.

John J. Boyer #70965 Hello, I am using Windows 10 Pro and NVDA 2019.3. Recently Microsoft made an update that caused trouble when i tried to post on my blog at http://www.godtouches.org I could not see the edit box for the title of the post. this happened in just the last few days. Evidently WordP;ress followed the link for a new post when I pressed Enter, but it loked like it did not. I switched to JAWS and had no trouble. Something for the developers to look into. Jackie #70967 At any rate, to follow up w/this, John has given me permission to assist him w/administering his site from time to time. I say that so folks don't think I just busted into it. John, you should install the classic editor as opposed to the Gutenberg editor. Just go to 'Plugins > Add new' & search for classic editor. Then install & activate it as usual. Might I also suggest you update your site, as you've got quite a few pending. Whenever you're having problems w/NVDA, it's a really good idea to first ensure that all updates have been performed in the area where you're having difficulties, in this case your WordPress site. John J. Boyer #70975 it affects both Chrome and Firefox. those are the only browsers I use. I'll bet the problem is something Microsoft did to help its pet browser, Edge. Shaun Everiss #70978 Well gutenberg should be accessible but I use classic editor as for microsoft edge and chrome, they have been at war with google for ages now.
