Hi,
I need to convert pdf files to csv.
what's the best, and most accessible way to do this?

Thanks,

CSV? Is it just a table, then?
Adobe offers an export PDF service for around $30 per year. Works well.

Hi,

Try this online converter and see if it works.  I haven't used it in
some time but they're still around converting files.

Jessica,

I just succeeded in converting a PDF file into CSV with the following steps:
1. Open the PDF file with Microsoft Word:
Press the Application key and ignore the "Open with adobe" and go on down to "Open with " and press right-arrow and then down-arrow to "Word" and press Enter.

2. Let Word open and press "OK" on all announcements that appear. Then press control+Home to move to the top of the open document followed by control+shift+End to highlight everything. Then press control+c to copy all to the clipboard.

3. Open Excel. An empty worksheet should appear. Make sure you are in cell "A1". Then press control+v to paste the contents of the clipboard into the open worksheet. Make sure the file looks right to you at this stage just in case you need to correct anything.

4. Press the following sequence of keystrokes (one after the other):
alt>f>a>o
The traditional "Save As" dialog will appear. Change the type of file to
"CSV (Comma delimited) (*.csv)"
and the job is done!

Sorry if my instructions are too detailed. I don't know how familiar you are with keystroke control.

All the best,

Cearbhall
