removing avg

More accessible and a good tutorial about what to avoid online as hazards I think. I only use Microsoft's own, but even that in its latest defender guise has creeping problems it seems.

The old lets cram in everything even if it breaks screenreaders syndrome again. Like the new firefox engine will be ewhen they turn off the old code next year.

Hi Brian:
I don't think that we exist on the radar of a lot of antivirus makers, yet, if it has to be a choice between makihng it more accessible and making it more secure, which would you choose? I want to be as secure as fort nox just like the next guy, but I don't want to be dictated to, have non accessible systems, have a screwed up box because of it, have no control bar a reformat, etc, etc, etc. Now msse, crappy security but I can control it. Why can I control crap software but not good software. I don't understand at all. And its why I am never going to use good security software even if it is accessible because I have done that to many times and then boom its changed without reason and bang back down I go. As a result I no longer trust any security software previder with my life. They don't serve me, so I don't serve them. A reformat fixes everything, they make it impossible for me to use their interface and thats where we are.

You know as long as you allowed something like tolque or the nvda controler dll in your program you could tell nvda what to say without an addon, teamtalk does this well enough.

Actually, you are right: it is not for us at all, but the good news is Windows 10 has an accessible antivirus program built in.

I still find it astounding that so many pieces of software in mass use just do not consider blind users. as an aging population more and more computer users of today will as they age lose their sight and expect to be able to use their software, but it seems that it s just not happening. Increasingly, anti virus makers are doing this, probably for legitimate reasons of stopping them getting hacked but nobody seems to have thought about us. Surely a simple self voicing uninstaller using the built in Microsoft voice would be all that was needed. Brian bglists@blueyonder.co.uk Sent via blueyonder.
