Hi Jim,
I have not experienced this. I use notepad for testing dictationBridge.
What version of dragon are you using please?

Hi, Windows 10 App Essentials does not support Dragon, as it is beyond the scope of Windows 10 apps. The add-on supports dictation because it is a built-in feature of Windows 10 since Version 1709, and it checks for a UIA event to announce dictated text as understood by this feature. Cheers, Joseph

Joseph,
Will windows app essentials work with dragon professional? If not, we can discuss off list and you are free to add that support too.

Hi, The biggest advantages of DictationBridge are support for Dragon and voice commands for NVDA. As far as built-in dictation is concerned, Windows 10 App Essentials will suffice. Cheers, Joseph

Joseph, just to double check (since to be honest, I don't use Dictation myself) - does Windows 10 App Essentials now basically replace Dictation Bridge if using Windows dictation? Or are there still other features Dictation Bridge provides which Win 10 App Essentials doesn't, but they might not be needed by everyone?
Quentin.

Hi all.
Has anyone noticed that when using NVDA and Dictation Bridge beta, and using Notepad, Text is not repeated when dictated. It does work properly in Word or Outlook but just not Notepad.
Thanks, Jim
