Good day guys
I hope you are well and safe. I am trying though troubled by school work. I may be doing something wrong here. Please forgive me. I have just bought a samsung A21s phone and is challenging me. Would you mind directing me to the right samsung mailing list used by blind so that I may be assisted? I tried to search for it, but I don't find it. My challenge, if I may say, is that when I am in the edit field, I cannot move character by character or word for word, etc. This means I cannot easily edit what I have wrongly inserted. Please assists. What setting do I go to for me to actavate the character, word mode? Once again, my apologies for using this mailing list for what is not meant for. I will be glad if you could direct me to the right samsung mailing list that blind users of the phone assist each other. Thanking you in advance. Marisane |

The two groups, one of which has already been mentioned, you want to hook up with are listed, along with their addresses, below.
Android Accessibility Group This community is for discussions about Android platform and its accessibility for blind and visually impaired users. Feel free to discuss or ask about app recommendations, OS problems, Screen readers, Vision aids, assistive apps, or any other related topic that you think will make the use of Android easier for the community. Archive: https://groups.io/g/androidaccessibility/topics Subscribe: androidaccessibility+subscribe@groups.io Post: androidaccessibility@groups.io Unsubscribe: androidaccessibility+unsubscribe@groups.io Group Owner: androidaccessibility+owner@groups.io Help: androidaccessibility+help@groups.io Blind Android Users Group (formerly known as ANATAD) Archive: https://groups.io/g/blindandroidusers/topics To join: blindandroidusers+subscribe@groups.io To post: blindandroidusers@groups.io To unsubscribe: blindandroidusers+unsubscribe@groups.io To receive a message containing the group description, and a list of these commands: blindandroidusers+help@groups.io To stop receiving messages via email (you may still read messages on the Web): blindandroidusers+nomail@groups.io This can also be used to put a vacation stop on group messages, then use one of the addresses below to resume delivery in the format of your choice. To receive each group messages individually: blindandroidusers+single@groups.io This is the default delivery unless you send a message to one of the addresses that follows. To receive group messages in an HTML formatted digest: blindandroidusers+fulldigest@groups.io To receive group messages in a plain text digest: blindandroidusers+digest@groups.io To receive a daily summary instead of individual messages: blindandroidusers+summary@groups.io To receive only special messages: blindandroidusers+special@groups.io

I also should have added that the group archives for the previously mentioned groups are public. If you are a beginner with Android (or NVDA, or anything a group is about) it really behooves you to go to the group archive page and start doing searches as your first order of business. Almost any question a beginner is getting ready to ask has likely been asked, and answered, many times before and you'll have the information you want far more immediately by searching for it and reading up in what you find.
