speaking punctuation

Running windows10 latest veersion and latest version of NVDA. I have always had my punctuation set for some. Seems that with the latest release of NVDA the less than is now being spoken. Did not speak before with a setting of Some.

I went back two versions and less than is spoken using some punctuation and
so is greater than. Do you know how to change the level if you don’t want
them spoken at that level?

I don't recall us changing that, so I'm not sure what has happened for you. In any case, I can definitely help with changing an individual item's punctuation level. In fact, we covered it in our In-Process blog earlier this year: https://www.nvaccess.org/post/in-process-30th-april-2021/#SymbolPronunciation Basically you want to open the "Punctuation / Symbol pronunciation" dialog, select your symbol, and change it's level (full steps in the linked article). When you open the dialog, if you shift tab once, you will be in a filter by
field. Type the item you are looking for, then tab back to the list.
