NVDA not reading any content in internet browsers
Gene
The first thing to do is run the
COM
Registration Fixing tool. You can find it in the tools menu.
I suspect you uninstalled a program shortly or immediately
before you saw this problem. I don’t know what other program
uninstallations may do this but uninstalling Office causes this problem and the
registration tool usually fixes it. Gene -----Original

It's been running fine and is likely to go to Release Candidate (RC) stage soon. It also fixes "the NVDA and add-on update" issue that keeps being reported, and even were you to decide to roll back afterward, that fix stays because it's a fix to resources used by NVDA, external to NVDA, not the NVDA code itself. -- Brian - Windows 10, 64-Bit, Version 21H1, Build 19043 The ignorance of one voter in a democracy impairs the security of all. ~ John F. Hello everyone,
My NVDA is not reading any content in any of my internet browsers. I'm using NVDA 19.2 on a Windows 10 machine. I also have a portable coppy of NVDA 21.2 which also has the same issue. It says "unknown" and "content not visible" in the browser window. And, for some reason, NVDA also occasionally announces "chrome legacy window" even when I laucnch a browser other than google chrome. This is very recent, everything was working fine till a couple of days back. Could someone please help in diagnosing the issue? Any help is much appreciated. -- Regards, Sociohack |
