Weird Editing Behaviour in Chrome and Edge?

NVDA stops reading entered text once you start typing, at least in
search boxes like Google's and Youtube's. Is there reasoning behind this? I didn't see any updates to anything, it just started doing this a few days ago. Thanks! |

This was already discussed a few weeks ago. I'm suffering this as well and can't wait for updates from the chromium side of things. It's a bit annoying but I can deal with it, for now.
