sound splitter addon suggestion

I think this addon would be more useful if there was a hot key to start or stop the sound splitting. That way for example if you were starting a Zoom meeting or similar thing you could start the sound splitting.

Hi,
another suggestion for this would be to experiment with panning, or a way of having one of the sounds left in stereo, and the other one just left or right, if that's at all possible. So, for instance, Zoom or whatever app would come of both speakers, while NVDA would be in your left or right ear, depending on which of your ears is prefered. One could pan whichever sound needs to come out of both ears, maybe to also factor in hearing loss or acoustic preference. Regards, Nermin |

Hi, This is already possible: Mono Audio, a setting provided by Windows where you can hear stereo sounds through a single audio channel. Cheers, Joseph |

mine, when I hit this key combo it enables the splitting, pressing again puts NVDA back in the middle.
