MS Access Series Re-upload(no more loud music, better quality, transcripts)

TheeQuinn Public

Hey Everyone!!
I know that I have not been posting my regular videos for a while but this was why. It took me a while, but I have re-edited and re-uploaded all 5 videos of the How to use Microsoft Access with NVDA series. I have upgraded the quality, i took out the loud music, and transcripts are now available for them(I am not finished with all of them though, but they will be finished by the end of the coming week, I promise). I worked really hard on these and I really appreciate your feedback. this goes to show that I do value your feedback. Below is a link to a short video that explains how you can access the videos an their transcripts quickly. Also, below is a link to my website.

Yes, it was; and I'm sorry.  But I get very annoyed when folks want me (us) to pay attension to them but they don't say who they are. Just as you didn't.

So?

The Quinn has been posting YouTube tutorials for some time now, and has offered them repeatedly here.

You have been a member here since September 2017.  You should certainly have seen The Quinn's material coming through in the past and recognize the name.

Even if you don't (for any you), you have nothing to lose but a few minutes time, at worst, to check something out that you may not find useful.  I have to do this all the time; all netizens should expect that there will be occasional dead-ends.

But whether or not someone gives their name or online identity is not the central issue.  And it's certainly not in a venue where a user has posted in the past and has every reason to believe that their name and content "should ring a bell" to long-timers on a group.

The messages say who they are from in the from line.  Also, signing a message tells you nothing if you don't know the person to begin with.

Regarding the quality, they are very good.  I've seen the work of one of the best and most highly regarded teachers in the field and I know good work when I see it.  I have also done one long tutorial and numerous presentations and given considerable thought to clear presentation.

Hi to TheeQuinn and all,

Firstly I'd like to praise this person for their efforts and initiative. If the world contained more doers and fewer complainers ah what a world it'd be. I for one think the quality in terms of content and production values demonstrates both their knowledge and thoughtfulness in terms of design and the fact that they're even willing to approach it with the humility to even ask of the intended audience what if anything could be done to optimize their efforts is so admirable and shows the level of care put into this investment of time energy and resources. As such it makes me sad to read people being critical therein in a fashion that's not even helpful. I for one am grateful for the effort and hope that TheeQuinn isn't discouraged by such commentary.

Be encouraged in all you do TheeQuinn and thanks for adding goodness, light and helpfulness to our world.

Take good, good care.

Looking forward to going through these, as I had to make it all up back in the day when I wrote an access application for running my massage therapy clinic.  This was back in 2004, and the accessibility of access was spotty if you weren't a JFW power user, (Probably WindowEyes too, but I didn't use it.)
I haven't had occasion to use Access since, though I can think of a couple of places where I might.  Thank you for producing tutorials.

I don't recognize the original poster and was not familiar with their work however after reading this entire conversation so many of you have praised the original poster and their work and that is something that may not have come out without the snarky remark about the signature :-)

One thing I'll note here, and it does not in any way apply to the quality of TheeQuinn's work, which is sterling, is that it takes a ton of nerve to complain about a free and freely available resource made by anyone.  If they're not charging you for it, it's a gift.

It may be a crappy gift, but it's still a gift.

There's nothing wrong with providing constructive feedback after having reviewed it, and people having done just that is what motivated Thee Quinn to do this reissue of this particular series with revisions.  But pre-emptive criticism without any review, for any reason, is simply outrageous.

In almost all cases each of us does not really know, or really care, about "the person behind the product" when it comes to educational materials.  The materials speak for themselves.  So if you have not bothered to take a look at what's being offered, then, for the love of heaven, withhold any criticism!

You keep posting them videos girl. I learned access version 4.3, and from what I learned you are right on.

And you work like a rabbit dropping 5 of them out so fast. Just don't forget your regular work too.

Your work is good and needed, so don't stop!

I love all the feedback everyone. It makes me feel like it was worth it. For the negative comments, I am honoured because they must have found my post interesting enough to even click on it and comment. I will continue to do what I do for the community because it is what I love. While editing these 5 videos you guys were all that was on my mind. So thanks for the feedback as always, and after a few regular uploads, I will be rerecording the PowerPoint Series next. Love you all! and Blessings!

I'll be excited for that content as well, as presentation software has been a subject of outright terror for me for longer than I care to admit.  *smile*  I may have missed it, but what's your channel, so I can subscribe?

I love your videos. They are instructive and very well presented.
