Question about whether NVDA has the equivalent of the JAWS graphics labeler to label unlabeled buttons in the HP Smart hub
Louise Pfau
Hi. I did some cautious experimentation with the HP Smart hub that came with my mother's all-in-one scanner-printer before I purchase one of my own. I want to be able to provide electronic copies of documents upon request, and I don't have a smartphone. I noticed that NVDA didn't read the labels for several buttons, including "Scan". Does NVDA have the JAWS graphics labeler equivalent to label such controls ?
Thanks, Louise |

Hi Louise
The closest I think might be the golden cursor which can be found at https://addons.nvda-project.org/addons/goldenCursor.en.html . I think that one does it like a hot spot?
there is another add on called Object Enhancer which can be gotten from my drop box at https://www.dropbox.com/s/drmx32drvwuetwq/objEnhancer_2022.3_Gen.nvda-addon?dl=1 The second one will also work on 2022.2

Maybe also using objEnhancer add-on... Link for a version compatible with NVDA 2022.2: https://www.dropbox.com/s/e8o80o0qmd2w7kz/objEnhancer_2019.2beta1_Gen.nvda-addon?dl=1
