install nvda silently

is this commands still actual?

 nvda_20xx.x.exe --minimal --install-silent

According to the User Guide for version 2022.3.2 these two command line options are available and should install NVDA literally silently and not start it after the install is complete.

Mattias,

Every NVDA user needs to know how to do two basic things when almost any question arises.  The one you want really depends on the exact nature of the question:

1.        Bring up the NVDA Commands Quick Reference:  NVDA + N, H, Q  [NVDA Menu, Help, Commands Quick Reference]

2.      Bring up the NVDA User Guide:  NVDA + N, H, U   [NVDA Menu, Help, User Guide]

Confirming whether command line options are still current is something that can be done by checking the NVDA User Guide.  The two to which your source made reference have been around for quite a while.

Mattias,

Is the command working for you?  Only someone asked me about this last week saying it didn't work.  I haven't been able to replicate - those options work just fine for me, and to our knowledge, should still work for everyone.  If it isn't working for you and you can send me more info / details of exact versions of NVDA / Windows etc, and a log, that would be great (Email info@...)

Kind regards

Quentin.
