Issue with NVDA and reading in Excel

Hi All, When someone sends me an invoice in Excel, NVDA reads it as numbers or blank, I then have to ask them to resend it in pdf doc, is there a fix for this?

Thanks.

I've seen this being the case when there are formulas in cells. I really hope there will be a fix for this also.

See this message in the archive:

My guess is this is going to be resolved with the right combination of settings tweaks.

Also, I want to reiterate, in this age of Windows 10/11 being around at the same time as well as Office 2016, 2019, 2021, and M365, that it's really important to give full information about your ecosystem:
1. NVDA version
2. Program being used version
3. Windows version and build
as all of these can have a direct impact on answers.
