Issue with NVDA and reading in Excel
Maria Ohara <maria_ohara@...>
Hi All, When someone sends me an invoice in Excel, NVDA reads it as numbers or blank, I then have to ask them to resend it in pdf doc, is there a fix for this? Thanks. Maria |

I've seen this being the case when there are formulas in cells. I really hope there will be a fix for this also.

My guess is this is going to be resolved with the right combination of settings tweaks. -- Brian - Virginia, USA - Windows 11 Pro, 64-Bit, Version 22H2, Build 22621; Office 2016, Version 16.0.15726.20188, 32-bit It is much easier to be critical than to be correct. ~ Benjamin Disraeli, 1804-1881 |

Also, I want to reiterate, in this age of Windows 10/11 being around at the same time as well as Office 2016, 2019, 2021, and M365, that it's really important to give full information about your ecosystem:
1. NVDA version 2. Program being used version 3. Windows version and build as all of these can have a direct impact on answers.
