NVDA with Java Access Bridge 64 Bit
Ali Savas
Hi all,
at work we will soon get an ERP software, which was developed with Java. The name of this software wouldn't mean anything to you anyway, so I won't mention this software. If I enable the Java Access Bridge via the command line using the JAB switcher, I can use the software more or less well with JAWS. If I want to use the software with NVDA, NVDA speaks nothing in this application. Hence my question:
My system:

I think you need both, at least the last time I used it I needed both, but since the software was rewritten with no idea of access by the blind, it was rubbish in anything, and I gave up.

I'm sure somebody who develops or uses such things will be along to explain. In many Ex Java programs, they seem to have mostly made them work with no bridge at all. Brian -- bglists@... Does NVDA work with the 64 bit Java Access Bridge? 2. If yes, how can I tell NVDA that the Java Access Bridge has already been enabled? My system: * Windows 11 (Version 22H2 (Build 22621.1105)) * NVDA 2022.4 * Java Access Bridge 14.1 Thanks in advance and best regards Ali |
