Little bit vague. They imply then that its more than just a manifest change in the driver code.

When there are changes to NVDA that require changes to the voices, they very rarely have those out as soon as the NVDA update is released. I expect it to receive an update sometime in the next week or so, but that is just my guess. If we get any more information about this, I will be sure to follow up with you. When will the NVDA Vocalizer/eloquinse addon be updated to work? This email is a service from A T Guys. What end user support operation would ever tell a user "all you have to do is go into this strange directory, open a file that tells the software what it's compatible with, and fiddle with these numbers"? They aren't implying anything other than that CF hasn't yet released a working update. That could suggest that one character in a single file needs to change, or that vast code amendments were required. It's quite vague indeed, because they aren't there to tell you how to hack your way around the failure. Their there to help *users*, not hacker types, get the new version working when it comes out, and to help them stay calm and patient until it does. You're so used to manifest edits, that it seems like no big deal to you. But the average "I want it to just work" user has no idea what, where, or why a manifest is; and would likely find a manifest edit quite intimidating. Luke |

My experience with CodeFactory is that they are slow about these updates.
I'm not sure why, but, it usually takes them a few days to actually get around to updating their app. If you haven't already, best thing is to write to support@... and let them know NVDA has been updated and their pp is no longer supported. Cheers. |

You can also get the code factory update here. Note you still need the license but the Spanish community got this up very, very quickly. They even have some older updates as well.
