hi Joseph,

I will write a mail to Jamie.

I don't think Tieman can help or want to help. Tieman is now Optelec. There

I have found, that Libbraille also has support for the combibraille
http://libbraille.org/display.php Maybe you can find something there?
On www.libbraille.org I have seen, that it is software that supports more
displays and has source code for different languages including Python.

Well, its working here OK, but I have noticed recently that on some sound hardware a loud click is heard at start and end of the speech, or even if you type ahead or stop speech.
I'm sure it was not always like that.
The machines that do this are all running xp.
It may be a little irritating at times but I've had no loss of espeak.

Can you be a little more specific about what you are running on and if a temp copy of an older version works as it did.
